New Blanket Style!

A few months ago my motherinlaw showed me a new style of blanket that a friend showed her how to make.  She was eager to show me how as well, so today I went over for a tutorial and here are my first two.  They are a double layered blanket with mitred corners and a decorative blanket stitch.  Finished they measure 36"x36" and so the will work as a swaddling blanket as well.  I am really excited about making more of these!

Classy Black & White Charmer Tote

A New Pattern - Netbook/Ipad/Gadget Bag

For Christmas I was given a netbook by my husband and needed a case to put it in.  I found a new pattern and tried it out.  I have to say I love the bag and find it has room for my netbook, mouse, cord, Ipod.  In other words all my gadgets!  I did add pockets on the inside that aren't in the pattern.  I have also made it without the strap for a coworker and I like it that way as well.  The picture is of mine and I am excited to make many more!

T-Shirt Scarves/Necklaces

In December I began making T-Shirt scarves/necklaces and began selling them and giving them as Christmas gifts.  I absolutely love them and kept 4 for myself that I wear on a regular basis.  I found the idea and tutorials for making them on Pinterest.

Today I was in the mall in Sephora and was wearing my red/black combo and had a couple of people ask me/compliment me on it!

What Happened In November & December?

In October I was very busy sewing and didn't get pictures posted.  I was getting ready to take all of my sewing to our Celbrate Dinner at our church for our Boutique event in November.  The next day I was at The Vendor Blender at their "Holiday Gifts Galore" event.  These are the pictures you see above with the tables.  I also did a second event at The Vendor Blender in December.  The pictures above are just some of the items I made.  I also had many new swaddle sets.  I also sold many custom orders during that time.  I am sorry I didn't get pictures up sooner.

Go Boise State!

It is no secret how here in Idaho we are very proud of and excited about our Boise State (Broncos) football team.  That is why last week ago I decided to start making these new bags.  They measure 18"w and 13 1/2" high with 4 pockets on the inside and a magnetic clasp closure.

Pirates & Cupcakes

Fall is here and I have gotten started on more bags!  Here are two new ones - a pirate themed bag for boys (my 6yr old wanted this one when he saw it), and cupcakes and monkeys for girls.
